Job Summary
THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST - TITLE 5, Position Description Number PDT5635P02 and is part of the KY 123 AW, National Guard.
Qualifications
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: May be required to successfully complete a trial period. Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. May be subject to furlough actions. Acceptance of a Federal position will terminate Tricare Reserve Select (TRS) eligibility. This position is located on a tobacco free facility. Must obtain and maintain a favorable adjudication of a T3 or equivalent investigation. This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position. Financial Management Level 2 Certification: Incumbent of this position is required to comply with all DoD and DoA requirements of this certification program as a condition of employment for this position. Employees must obtain the appropriate certification levels for their positions within 24 months after initial assignment; and, employees must maintain the positions' continuous training and education studies, as identified for each certification level, during the defined 24 month period. NOTE: A retired member of the Armed Forces may not be appointed to a DOD civilian position within 180 days after retirement, without a TAG approved waiver, in accordance with DoDi 1402.01, Employment of Retired Members of the Armed Forces, dated 09 Sep 2007 and National Guard Appointment for Retired Members of the Armed Forces Memo, dated 18 Jan 2019.
